On 22 April and 22 May 2026, the CR202 Project (Obayashi Singapore Pte Ltd – Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (Singapore) Joint Venture) welcomed students from the Raffles Archives and Museum Club of Raffles Institution to its Biodiversity Training Centre. 
Two weeks ago, Obayashi had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Woh Hup during their visit to Japan to learn more about developing technologies in Obayashi's facilities.
On Friday, 15 May 2026, 11 interns came together to share their End-of-Internship presentations with OSPL’s Management, marking a meaningful closure to their internship journey with Obayashi.
We are excited to participate in the UTM Career Fair this year, marking our very first time taking part in the event. Together with our young engineers and quantity surveyors, we shared insights into the diverse opportunities within the built environment industry and experiences working in the field. It was truly encouraging to connect with so many passionate and driven students. We look forward to seeing the next generation of talent bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the industry.
Colleagues from Obayashi Singapore Private Limited came together for a Nature Walk on 15 Mar (Sunday) at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, held under the theme of “Green Steps Together.” It was a refreshing opportunity to step away from our routines, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time with fellow colleagues and family members.
Obayashi Singapore was pleased to participate once again in the Singapore Universities Combined Civil Engineering Engagement Day (SUCCEED) 2026, held at NTU on 7 February.
On 3 February 2026, Obayashi Singapore organised our inaugural inter-site visit for students doing internship within the organization. This initiative aims to broaden interns' exposure beyond their assigned project sites, foster interaction and knowledge-sharing, and promote hands-on learning.
The International Migrants Day celebration was held on 14 December at D’Marquee, Downtown East, welcoming over 10,000 visitors. The event featured a vibrant lineup of multicultural stage performances and carnival booths, offering an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

On 4 September 2025, Obayashi celebrated a major milestone—60 years of presence in Singapore. We were honoured to have Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development, and His Excellency Mr Ishikawa Hiroshi, Ambassador of Japan to Singapore, grace our anniversary dinner.
It has been a truly rewarding journey — from brainstorming ideas and designing our booth, to finally seeing the panels set up and welcoming visitors at The Built Environment Expo.
