On 19 Aug, BCAA organised the BCA-STAS Introductory Course on MEP Design and Prefabrication and one of our staff, Mr Wei Jian Yam, was invited to serve as one of the trainers.
Targeted at builders, prefab suppliers, and MEP subcontractors, the two-day course aims to strengthen industry capabilities in modular MEP delivery, with the goal of achieving higher buildability, greater cost efficiency, and improved building performance.
During the session, Mr Yam shared on the topics of procurement process, site access, and coordination planning. He also presented case studies covering different procurement models and the implementation of DfMA in Obayashi’s recently completed project.
We are glad to have been able to share our practical experience and knowledge with fellow industry partners, and we look forward to continuing our contribution to the advancement of the built environment sector.
