Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Engineer assists the Site/ Project Manager in project planning and overseeing works on site.

Job Functions:

Plan and execute work schedule based on contract schedule.
Coordinate and control construction works on site.
Handle technical and engineering problems.
Evaluate subcontractors’ risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements.
Review subcontractors/supplier performance after completion works.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Building or Engineering.
At least 5 years of project management and site experience in building and construction, civil and structural projects.
Experience for at least two large scale construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

The M&E Engineer assists the M&E Manager in coordinating M&E specific works on site.

Job Functions:

Control site progress and installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical submissions for on-time completion.
Appraise works/ products to ensure compliance to specifications and requirements.
Coordinate M&E drawings and produce CSD and individual service drawings delivery.
Conduct QA/QC inspections.
Provide and maintain all site inspection records and T&C records are up to date.
Check, evaluate and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for the purpose of M&E subcontractor/ NSC vendors progress payments, including instruction of progress substantiation document preparation by subcontractors and vendors.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Good technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades.
Good knowledge of local codes/ regulations pertaining to M&E services, building construction and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor assists the Contracts Manager in day to day operations. Duties include preparing cost estimates and plans and managing all costs involved for the project while administering contractual, tender and claim issues.

Job Functions:

Take off the quantity and evaluate quotations from approved vendors.
Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
Measure the as-built works progressively.
Performs costs estimates.
Verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors/suppliers and prepare payment responses/certificates.
Liaise with consultants QS on progress payments and variation orders.
Estimate subcontractors’ final cost.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Science, Building or Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in the procurement of construction projects and/or building variation works.
Experience in the construction industry.
