Obayashi Singapore Pte Ltd (OSPL) was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2026 CTIL Technical Seminar on Engineering the Future of Concrete Structures: Sustainability and Resilience, held on 1 October 2026 at SIT Punggol Campus.
Bringing together regulators, industry leaders, engineering professionals and researchers, the seminar provided a valuable platform to exchange ideas and showcase innovations that are shaping a more sustainable, resilient and high-performance built environment.
As part of the industry exhibition, OSPL collaborated with Obayashi Construction-Tech Lab Singapore (OCLS) and CR202 to showcase technologies and practical solutions that support the transition towards greener construction practices.

Visitors to our booth had the opportunity to learn more about:
🔹 CleanCrete and CleanCrete N, Obayashi’s low-carbon concrete technologies that contribute to reducing the embodied carbon footprint of construction projects.
🔹 A practical case study demonstrating the preparation of structural elements for direct reuse during demolition, highlighting how valuable building components can be preserved and repurposed, extending their service life and supporting circular construction principles beyond conventional recycling.

These initiatives reflect Obayashi’s ongoing commitment to advancing sustainability across the construction lifecycle through innovation, resource efficiency and carbon reduction. As the industry continues its journey towards greater sustainability and resilience, collaboration between industry, academia and public agencies will remain essential in turning research and innovation into real-world impact.
