We are launching the Lean Construction Transformation at the Eastern General Hospital (EGH) Project, in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

This initiative brings together EGH project team, MOHH, consultants, and over 20 Lean Champions under a “One Team, One Mission” approach to drive excellence in project delivery.

Given the scale, complexity, and multi-stakeholder environment of the EGH development, Lean practices will be applied to enhance execution reliability, reduce variability, and improve milestone predictability.

Through a structured 12-week programme, the team will implement practical Lean tools such as Last Planner System, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis, supported by training, workshops, and on-site coaching.

The transformation aims to deliver:

  • Improved productivity and collaboration
  • Greater milestone certainty and schedule reliability
  • Reduced waste and inefficiencies
  • Sustainable continuous improvement capabilities
