On 3 February 2026, Obayashi Singapore organised our inaugural inter-site visit for students doing internship within the organization. This initiative aims to broaden interns’ exposure beyond their assigned project sites, foster interaction and knowledge-sharing, and promote hands-on learning. A total of 17 interns from various Institutes of Higher Learning including NUS, NTU, BCA Academy, Nanyang Polytechnic, and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, came together for this site visit.
Interns visited the New Science Centre project and the CR202 site, gaining insights into complex construction processes, innovative technologies, and environmental management practices. Guided by project teams, they explored real-world engineering challenges, including large-scale tunnelling works.
The session provided a valuable platform for knowledge-sharing and practical learning, reinforcing Obayashi’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent in Singapore’s built environment.
