We are proud to celebrate Frances Imatong, BIM Coordinator, on successfully completing her Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) while balancing a full-time career in BIM and digital delivery.

Balancing a demanding career with academic commitments was no easy feat. Between project deadlines, assignments, and examinations, there were many evenings when Frances returned home after a long day at work with little energy left to study. Weekends were often dedicated to coursework instead of spending time with family and friends. Through discipline, perseverance, and a clear focus on her long-term goals, she remained committed to the journey and saw it through to the end.

With over seven years of experience in BIM and digital delivery, Frances shared that the degree has strengthened her engineering foundation and deepened her understanding of the principles behind design and construction decisions. She hopes to continue bridging the gap between engineering, BIM, and digital transformation, contributing to the industry’s future through innovation and technology.

Her advice to colleagues considering further studies:

β€œDon’t wait for the perfect time. There will always be challenges, but taking the first step and staying focused on your goal makes all the difference.”

Congratulations, Frances, on this significant milestone. Your dedication, resilience, and commitment to lifelong learning are truly inspiring. We look forward to seeing you continue to shine in your role and make meaningful contributions to the Built Environment industry in the years ahead. πŸ‘
