The International Migrants Day celebration was held on 14 December at D’Marquee, Downtown East, welcoming over 10,000 visitors. The event featured a vibrant lineup of multicultural stage performances and carnival booths, offering an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
This year, Obayashi Singapore contributed $30,000 to support the event’s tentage setup.
For the carnival booths, Obayashi hosted an engaging dart-throwing game. Regardless of where participants hit the board, everyone walked away with a prize. Prizes included rechargeable handheld fans, preloaded EZ-Link cards, or portable power banks. The booth is also giving away complimentary pens to all visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the migrant community, whose hard work and dedication have played a vital role in building our society. Our colleagues who volunteered at the booth also enjoyed interacting with participants and celebrating together, making the experience both meaningful and memorable.
