SUSS Inaugural Charity Golf Event
The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) hosted their Inaugural Charity Golf Event at Laguna National Golf and Country Club in August 2022. Obayashi Singapore joined the line of sponsors to support this event and played a part in contributing to raising funds for undergraduate students in need of financial support along their education journey. A portion of the fund will also go to President’s Challenge 2022, as well as AWWA.
Official Launch Ceremony of SUTD Campus-in-Bloom
The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) was established in 2009 to nurture technically-grounded leaders and innovators in the areas of mathematics, science, and technology to serve societal needs. Jointly sowing the seeds of future leaders’ development, Obayashi Singapore Private Limited collaborated with SUTD and adopted a tree under SUTD Campus-in-Bloom campaign. This enabled Obayashi Singapore Private Limited to provide financial support for SUTD’s students’ scholarships; bursaries and other student welfare activities.
Our Managing Director Mr. Lee Aik Seng attended the Official Launch Ceremony of SUTD Campus-in-Bloom programme on 9 Nov 2018. Dr Mohd Maliki Osman, Senior Minister of State (Defence & Foreign Affairs), Mayor for South East CDC and MP for East Coast GRC presented Mr. Lee with a token of appreciation for OSPL’s efforts in nurturing the future leaders of the society.Hosting of Construction Site Tours
Understanding the importance of quality education for our future generation, Obayashi Singapore hosts study visits at our construction sites so as to give the students a good understanding of common construction activities and the control measures in place to ensure safety at sites.
